Cookie policy

The Malnox website uses no tracking cookies. This page explains exactly what your browser stores when you visit us, so you do not have to take our word for it.

Last updated: 26 Oct 2026

1.The principle: no banner, because there is nothing to consent to

You do not see a cookie banner because we do not set cookies that would require consent. Strictly necessary cookies are exempt under the ePrivacy Directive and the Romanian implementing law.

If we ever add analytics or advertising, it will be opt-in, with refusal as easy as acceptance, and we will update this page before it goes live.

2.What we actually store

A single local storage category: the session token and preferences, stored in localStorage rather than tracking cookies. The token is sent only to api.malnox.com and you can clear it anytime by signing out.

  • malnox.locale — the chosen language, so it is not only remembered in the URL.
  • malnox.session.token — the session token issued by api.malnox.com, so you stay signed in between visits.
  • malnox.consent — records that you read this page, so we do not show a pointless banner.

3.Third-party scripts

We do not load Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Hotjar, reCAPTCHA or Google Fonts. Fonts are served from our own domain, so there is no third-party request on each visit.

We use no embeds that could set cookies without your knowledge. If a link leads to an external service it opens in a new tab with rel="noopener noreferrer".

4.How to delete them

From browser settings: Application > Local Storage for Chrome and Edge, or Storage > Local Storage for Firefox. Deleting them does not affect the installed product, which keeps its own data in %ProgramData%\Malnox.
